Please read these terms carefully before booking any tour, taxi, or service with Himalaya Horizon Tours.

1. Booking & Confirmation
All bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of advance payment as agreed. A booking confirmation will be sent via WhatsApp or email. Himalaya Horizon Tours reserves the right to cancel or modify any booking due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, road blockages, or natural calamities.
2. Payment Terms
An advance payment of 25–50% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid before or on the day of departure. Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or cash. All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 15 or more days before departure: 10% cancellation charge. Cancellations made 7–14 days before departure: 25% cancellation charge. Cancellations made 3–6 days before departure: 50% cancellation charge. Cancellations made less than 3 days before departure or no-show: 100% cancellation charge. No refund will be provided for unused services, early departures, or voluntary changes during the tour.
4. Refund Policy
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method. Refunds are not applicable for services already rendered, peak season bookings (December–January, May–June), or cancellations due to natural disasters, government restrictions, or force majeure events.
5. Tour Itinerary Changes
Himalaya Horizon Tours reserves the right to alter, amend, or cancel any itinerary due to road conditions, weather, political unrest, or any other reason beyond our control. In such cases, we will provide the best possible alternative arrangements. No refund or compensation will be provided for changes caused by force majeure.
6. Traveller Responsibilities
Travellers are responsible for carrying valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving Licence) at all times. Travellers must follow the instructions of the tour guide and driver. Any damage caused to vehicles, hotel property, or equipment by the traveller will be charged accordingly. Himalaya Horizon Tours is not responsible for loss of personal belongings during the tour.
7. Health & Fitness
Some tours involve high-altitude trekking and physically demanding activities. Travellers with medical conditions (heart disease, asthma, high blood pressure, pregnancy) must consult their doctor before booking. Himalaya Horizon Tours is not liable for any health-related incidents during the tour. We strongly recommend travel insurance for all bookings.
8. Taxi & Transport Services
All taxi and tempo traveller services are subject to availability. Prices quoted are for the agreed route and do not include toll charges, parking fees, or driver allowances unless specified. Waiting charges may apply beyond the agreed schedule. The company is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, road conditions, or vehicle breakdowns beyond our control.
9. Hotel & Accommodation
Hotel bookings are subject to availability. Check-in and check-out times are as per hotel policy. Himalaya Horizon Tours acts as an intermediary for hotel bookings and is not responsible for the quality of services provided by third-party hotels. Any complaints regarding accommodation must be reported immediately to our team.
10. Liability Disclaimer
Himalaya Horizon Tours acts as an agent for hotels, transport providers, and other service providers. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity caused by the negligence of third-party service providers. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
11. Privacy Policy
We collect personal information (name, phone, email) solely for the purpose of processing bookings and communicating with you. Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law. By making a booking, you consent to our use of your information for these purposes.
12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from bookings or services provided by Himalaya Horizon Tours shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Himachal Pradesh, India.
